Fitness Challenge

Physical activity is important for overall health and wellbeing. Our Fitness Challenge combines cardio and resistance training to help you reach your health or weight loss goals.

Obesity that results from sedentary behaviours, bad diet and smoking are the greatest killers of Aboriginal people. Physical fitness and health improvements can help to prolong and improve the quality of your life.

Our Fitness challenge includes:

  • Modified eating/dietary habits
  • Fun runs
  • Tuff Mudder
  • Half and full marathons

The program is open to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people aged 18 and above. All Healthy Lifestyle Team programs are drug, alcohol and tobacco free.
