Physical activity and good nutrition can help you live a better life. Join our fortnightly Soul Sistas Living Strong Program workshops, where you can set and achieve your own health goals.

Why you should join

Exercise and good nutrition play an important role in your wellbeing. They can also help to close the gap between Indigenous and non-Indigenous health.

In our Soul Sistas Living Strong Program you’ll be given a pedometer to use throughout the year and record the number of steps you’ve taken at each workshop. The program also includes three health checks and motivational speakers attend some of the workshops to provide further support. There’s also end-of-year prize giveaways for our healthy lifestyle challenge!

The program is open to all Aboriginal women over the age of 18, as well as partners of Aboriginal men and people raising Aboriginal children.

Smoking is not permitted in the workshops and Tobacco Action Workers are present to support participants who are smokers.
